Frameworks
Simple tools for real rollouts.
Take these and use them. Each one came from watching teams try AI and either stick with it or stall.
One Workflow at a Time
Adoption
- Pick one task everyone on the team does every week.
- Time how long it takes today.
- Build the prompt together in one session.
- Everyone uses it for the next four times the task comes up.
- Time it again. Then choose the second workflow.
It feels slow in the first month. By the third month, it’s the team that’s actually using AI.
Before You Cap AI Spend
Cost
- Pull your top 5 users. Ask each one what they built, what it replaced, and roughly what it costs.
- Keep funding the ones with a clear payoff, and have them walk their team through it.
- Ask them how they keep costs down, like which tasks need the most powerful model and which don’t.
You’ll learn quickly whether you have a cost problem or an AI champion you haven’t put to work.
Three Questions Before an Agent Goes Live
Safety
What can it access, and who decided that?
Where’s the record of what it did?
Who can hit the brake, and how fast?
If you can’t answer all three yet, start there this week.
