FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
Straight answers about getting teams to use AI, about Cait Porte and Groundshift Labs, and about working together.
Using AI at work
How do I get my team to actually use AI?
Pick one task the whole team does every week, time it, and build the AI workflow for it together in one session. Use it for the next four weeks, time it again, then pick the next task. Cait Porte calls this One Workflow at a Time.
How do I measure whether AI training worked?
Time a real task before training and again a few weeks after. If a weekly report went from 90 minutes to 30, that’s an hour back per person each week. Time saved on real work is a better measure than how many people logged in.
Why does AI use drop off after training?
Most teams leave training with ideas but no shared workflow, so within a few weeks people go back to how they worked before. Use sticks when a team builds one workflow together and keeps using it every week.
Should we cap AI spending?
Look at what your top users built before you set a cap. A cap can shut down the workflows that are saving the most time. Tie spend to outcomes, fund what pays off, and cut cost by moving routine steps to cheaper models. This is Cait Porte’s Before You Cap AI Spend check.
What should I check before launching an AI agent?
Ask three questions: Does it save real time? Which steps still need a person? Who can stop it, and how fast? If you can’t answer all three, it’s not ready. This is Cait Porte’s Three Questions Before an Agent Goes Live.
Which AI tool should my team use?
Usually the one you already pay for, whether that’s Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini. How the team uses the tool affects results more than which tool it is.
